Why should you always invest in Yourself?
Invest in yourself for the future.
Undoubtedly the most valuable investment you could ever make is self-investment. Not only does it offer future returns, but frequently provides current satisfaction and personal gain.
Failing to invest in personal development will reduce your true potential as well as limit growth and success.
Investing in yourself doesn’t always mean putting money into yourself
But putting time into you by bettering your current life, situation and/or well-being such as your health.
Don’t primarily just focus on material things such as new clothes, shoes or makeup, which all are nice to have over time.
Focus on opportunities and assets that will raise your knowledge and eventually make huge impacts for you moving forward and growing older.
How to invest in your MIND, BODY, and SOUL
There are quite a few ways one can invest in their mind, body and soul. You can help promote your overall health by holistic healing.
Here are some steps you can take:
- Balancing finding your day to day balance with life today can be extremely
overwhelming, taking 30 minutes to 1 hour to do something you love. - Avoid too much suger
- Increase your water intake
- Get plenty of sleep
- Be grateful
- Show grace
- Learn breathing techniques
- Appreciate your life
- Find a passion
- Let go of a negative person in your life
- Start journaling
- TAKE A MENTAL HEALTH DAY
As I get older I truly believe knowledge is power.
The more you increase your knowledge throughout your time here on earth the more you will gain intellectually, mentally, spiritually and socially.
Learning something new was not necessarily one of my favorite things to do
I was comfortable with who I was and what I enjoyed doing day to day. It wasn’t till a few years ago in my mid thirties I found passion for painting.
I loved to draw when I was a kid but growing up and needing to take on other responsibilities drawing and coloring was a thing of the past.
I took on a hobby, something I could do alone that I enjoyed. I started with a small 4×6 canvas and soon after grew into larger ones.
I saw myself investing time and space in my home for my paintings.
Even though I do not sell my paintings or benefit financially from them I am investing in myself by relaxing, doing something that makes me happy and helps keep my brain moving.
Keeping up with your health
I love this passage I came across on a yoga website,
“How yoga can help invest in you”
“Yoga is a path to these same fruits, but when your mind is jumpy, sleepy, or
full of angry thoughts, your body will reflect that with a tight jaw, saggy shoulders,
or a knot in your belly. The body and mind need to work together in order to fully
experience clarity of mind and radiant health.”
Invest in a yoga class, yoga is a great way to help calm you and relax muscles after a long day or week.
It can help with chronic pain, stress, anxiety and flexibility.
There are endless ways you can start investing in yourself.
It’s all about when you want to start.
The body and mind need to work together in order to fully experience clarity of mind and radiant health.
That’s the recipe for experiencing confidence, interest, and friendliness in our lives.
