Payment
Payment is due at time of service. When enrolling in services, we will store your preferred debit or credit card on file. This will ease the process of payments and allow us to focus on more important things, like you!
We offer courtesy billing for all out of network plans. This means that after paying for your session, we will submit the claim to your insurance and reimbursement will be mailed back to you, depending on your plan and coverage.

Insurance
We Now Offer Courtesy Billing for Most Insurance Plans!
We have seen first-hand the barrier that navigating out of network plans, superbills, and waiting for reimbursement can provide.
We are so happy to be able to offer courtesy insurance benefit checks and courtesy billing.
What does this mean for you?
Even if the provider you want to see within the practice is not in-network with your insurance, we can utilize your out of network benefits and take care of the billing for you so that you are able to receive reimbursement directly to you from your insurance for session fees.
Each plan offers different reimbursements, deductibles, etc, so we will start with checking your specific plan and go from there.
To utilize this option for payment, you can simply click the blue “Use Your Insurance” button on this screen,
or you can e-mail the following information to alicia@convenientcounselingservices.com:
- First and last name
- Date of birth
- Insurance Carrier
- Insurance Subscriber ID
The process of utilizing out-of-network benefits would be as follows:
- Have your scheduled session with your clinician
- Pay for the session fee following your appointment
- Our billing specialists will then submit the claim to your insurance company and take care of any discrepancies or additional information that is needed
- Within 1-2 weeks, you will receive a check for the partial or full reimbursement of the session fee (the exact amount is plan dependent)
Sliding Fee
Finances can be a barrier to therapy, and as you can see, we work to break down every barrier we can! We hold a certain number of sliding scale sessions per month. The cost for these sessions will be calculated based on your current income and expenses. Please inquire directly about these limited slots, and we will work together to find something that works for you.
Out of Network Benefits
Many insurance companies offer out of network benefits, which allows you to seek services, pay out of pocket, and then receive a reimbursement from your insurance company.
Out-of-network superbills are receipts of service that can be provided to you at the end of each session via e-mail, that you can in turn provide to your insurance company via e-mail or fax.
Insurance companies can be quite unpredictable in terms of their reimbursement rate, and we would encourage you to call your insurance company to inquire about what their specific out of network reimbursements are. We would be happy to answer any further questions in regards to this, and will do our best to assist clients in navigating this process.
When calling your insurance company to inquire about Out of Network benefits, you will need the following information:
- Service code: 53 minute psychotherapy, CPT code: 90837
- Provider NPI Number: 107 301 0336
- Location of services: Telehealth (location code: 95 or GT)
It is also beneficial to inquire about the following when checking out of network benefits:
- How do I submit the superbill?
- Does any other information need to be submitted with each superbill?
- How long does payment reimbursement typically take?
- Do I have a deductible (a certain cost that you need to spend before insurance will begin to reimburse)?
