Hello! I’m happy you’re here! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide traditional therapy, in a non-traditional way. With online therapy, you are able to take part in what can typically be a daunting task, in the convenience and comfort of your own space and time.
In my practice, I truly meet people where they are at; mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Through integrative and evidence-based practices, I help clients both cultivate and exceed their treatment goals. We all have different ideals of life, and I am here to help you live your most ideal life.
While it is important to share more about who I am and what I do, it is also important to share what I am not; I am not a friend, but an ally. I am not a giver of advice, but an encouraging figure to find that insight within oneself. I am not a mind-reader, but an external source of sorting through overwhelming thoughts and feelings.

My Approach
It is okay, and most preferred, to wonder, ‘Will she be a good fit?’, ‘Will she understand what I am going through?’, ‘Will she be able to help me?’. I want you to feel most comfortable in this process, and that means feeling that I am a good fit for you.
I bring my authentic self to the sessions each and every day. This means my compassion, my investment in the process, and even my humor, will be present. Throughout the process of therapy, I pay attention to patterns, and bring both kind and direct attention to them. Do these patterns serve you, or could they serve you differently? I incorporate some psycho-educational work when appropriate. I hope you are able to learn something new each session, and psycho-educations are a great way to have a tangible take-away from the session. I will challenge you at times and bring a different perspective to the situation at hand. I encourage you to also challenge yourself, as well as me. It is okay to ask questions! It is okay to ask where the session is headed, where the next few weeks are headed, and to check in on the progress made thus far.

What to Expect
Online therapy is traditional talk therapy, only online. The only difference between what we will be doing together and what you may have done in the past, or seen on television, or heard of your friends and family doing, is that you will be on one side of a computer, phone, or tablet, and I will be on the other. The integrity of the therapy sessions is not lost in any way; we will still maintain the interpersonal benefits and rapport building of therapy, such as eye contact, ease and flow of conversation, and being able to see each other during sessions.
What you can expect your first day of therapy is for a link to be sent to an e-mail address that you designate. When you click on this link, it will bring you to a HIPAA-compliant platform where the therapy session will take place. The therapy session is secure and confidential. With this platform, you will be able to schedule or reschedule an appointment, and will be able to securely message me if and when needed.
